1. Loops & Pluto

Loops & Pluto, an online retailer of Funny Shirts, Indie Clothes and Vintage Tees first approached OrganicApex in June ‘08.
The site was doing pretty well, but it needed to move on to the next level.
The solution was simple – we needed to create an integrated approach to increase organic search traffic and bolster sales.
THE CHALLENGE

THE NUMBERS
- 300 uniques a day ( average )
- 10 sale conversions a month.
- 150 uniques a day from the search engines.
THE PROCESS
We initiated a holistic on-site and off-site optimization strategy for the site to enable it to gain more traction in the major search engines.
The campaign started with collecting data from within the site and drilling keywords based on the data.
This was followed by creating a web-site structure to facilitate indexing and ranking.
We had another major challenge in the form of creating unique content, since most of the existing content was not original.
We decided to base the strategy on a silo-structure as follows:
The architecture and on-site optimization was followed by off-page optimization.
The link development team at OrganicApex created a strategy based on link spread and using multiple sources to acquire in-bound links.
The link building was based on a staggered and slow link acquisition idea – and, links were to be built to multiple clusters and brand slugs and product pages.
This strategy was strengthened by blogger outreach campaigns and social media marketing.
